SUMMER 2021
INFORMATION

Izadora De Oliveira, Samantha Kershner and Brianna Grossman.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
This summer, we're planning to compete in several great Bay Area tournaments in addition to scrimmaging local clubs.

Energy's summer basketball program is competitive but flexible, featuring high quality basketball instruction, and is open to incoming 9th through outgoing 12th grade girls.

We hold practices in the late evenings twice a week, plus a weekly structured open gym (i.e. pickup basketball). New this season and based on feedback from players and parents, the open gym / pick-up basketball format to give players an increased number of game like practice opportunities.
Burlingame Energy Basketball's summer season will be coached by returning coaches Dave Weinstein, Jeremy Gordon, Laura Huff and Anthony Jones along with Izadora De Oliveira, Samantha Kershner and Brianna Grossman!

The season starts with tryouts Tuesday, June 15th and runs through the week of August 15th.

Our weekly practices will be at the OFJCC gym:
-
Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm
-
Thursdays from 7:30pm - 9:30pm
-
Sundays from 5pm-6:30pm (open gym/structured pick up)

In the past, we’ve practiced out of Burlingame Intermediate School, however BIS is not available this summer due to construction. San Mateo County facilities in general are not opening up for rental until mid-July adding an extra challenge.

With area youth programs scrambling to find summer facilities, we are excited to have access to the state of the art OFJCC facility located right off of 101 at 3921 Fabian Way in Palo Alto, with its full size hardwood court and its easy and secure underground parking.

Past Energy seasons have included high school players from Burlingame, Mills, Hillsdale, St. Ignatius and Crystal Springs.
Our high school program fees are $500, plus uniform purchase plus a $25 per tournament fee. Payment plans, partial and full scholarships available on request. Burlingame Energy is a 501.3c non-profit with 100% of fees going into operating the program.
