HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a fall Energy Basketball club season, practicing out of Crystal Springs High School in Hillsborough, with tryouts on August 25th and 27th from 6pm-8pm.

New this fall season, we will be adding a basketball program called Energy Select.

Energy is for players who are serious about their basketball and looking for a fun and positive place to help take their game to the next level. We encourage and support our multi-committed and multi-sport athletes and believe that in-season high school sports should come first, so we work with players to be flexible on time commitment.

Our core Energy Basketball program will practice two days a week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm-8pm, and play in several local Bay Area weekend tournaments with no hotel stays.

Energy Select is a higher level of play and commitment. It adds a third weekly practice, Fridays 6pm-8pm, and more competitive tournaments that may require hotel stays (but no air travel). Friday night practices will focus on systems (offense, defense, press, press break, etc.). The expectation is that Energy Select players will attend 90% of practices, scrimmages and tournament games.

Burlingame Energy Basketball's fall season will be coached by returning coaches Dave Weinstein, Izadora De Oliveira, Samantha Kershner and Anthony Jones. Energy Select will be coached by Samantha Kershner and Anthony Jones.
